Hello, my name is Matthew Carter, owner of A. C. & A in Lagrange Ky. which also serves the Louisville community.  Today we are going to discuss the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period.  From January 1st to March 31st Medicare Advantage recipients have a one-time opportunity to change their plan or disenroll completely from Medicare Advantage. Changing a plan simply involves switching to another Medicare Advantage company or moving to a different plan with your current insurer. A complete disenrollment from a Medicare Advantage plan will allow the recipient to reenroll into Original Medicare without prescription drug coverage.  This period does not apply to those not enrolled in Medicare Advantage.  For more information Google Medicare supplement Lagrange, Ky.  A.
