C. & A. in Lagrange Ky. which also serves Louisville.  Today’s topic centers around the Medicare Annual Enrollment and what this qualifies you to change in your healthcare coverage.  From October 1st to December 7^th, Medicare recipients are allowed to change their prescription drug plan or Medicare Advantage plan for a 1^st of the year effective date. A prescription drug plan is purchased separately from Medicare to cover your prescribed medicines at the pharmacy or through mail order.  Medicare Part C or Medicare Advantage covers medical and prescription costs on most plans.  These plans can offer dental, vision, hearing, or other ancillary benefits.  Please check with your local insurance broker to find more information on the 2024 plans.
