Hello, my name is Matthew Carter, owner of A. C. & A. in Lagrange, Ky. which also provides service to the Louisville community. A. C. & A. specializes in Medicare planning. Today we are going to discuss changes to look for in prescription drug plans and Medicare Advantage plans during the Annual Enrollment Period. The Annual Enrollment Period runs from October 15th to December 7th of every year. This period allows the Medicare recipient to change their Medicare Advantage and prescription drug plans as many times as they desire for a January 1st effective date. Premiums, drug formularies, deductibles, preferred pharmacies, copays and coinsurance change from year to year. It is important to have a licensed broker review the Annual Notice of Changes(ANOC) provided by the Medicare Advantage plan or prescription drug plan. This decision will affect your out-of-pocket costs for the entirety of the following year. For more information, Google Medicare supplement Lagrange, Ky.
